Merilin Hehir- Head of Operations

Mission: Ensuring that everyone at Gridraven can do their best work.

For nearly a decade, Merilin has been helping tech companies thrive. From organizing hackathons with Garage48 to managing diplomatic projects with the Estonian Foreign Ministry, she has built a career around helping push ambitious ideas into impactful realities. She played a key role in scaling the Estonian Startup Visa and has handled operations and people management at companies like Pactum and Single.Earth.

Now, she is putting all her experience to good use at Gridraven. Her goal is to make it possible for the incredibly talented people in Gridraven to focus on what they are best at without worrying about any operational details.

Priidu Kull - Senior Software Engineer

Mission: To help to build a notable company that I will be proud to have been a part of.

Priidu is a former lawyer who soon realized that software engineering was where he could create a real, lasting impact. Since making the switch, he has been at the forefront of developing solutions in some of Estonia’s most innovative tech companies.

Before Gridraven, Priidu was the lead developer at Salv, an AML (anti-money laundering) service provider, where he spearheaded business-critical initiatives to improve database performance and user experience. Before that, he was the first hire at AI startup ChatCreate, running LLMs in production as early as 2019. He has also led an engineering team for Estonia’s e-Residency program, working to streamline the process of issuing Estonian digital IDs to entrepreneurs worldwide.

Now, at Gridraven, Priidu is focused on building robust, scalable software solutions that will drive the future of smart energy management.

Oliver Rass - Data Scientist

Mission: Transforming grid and electricity market data into actionable insights.

Oliver is an Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics undergraduate interested in mathematics and data science. He combines technical expertise with a deep passion for mathematics and data. Prior to joining Gridraven, Oliver worked as a Financial Analyst at Verston before transitioning to research at TalTech's Microgrids group, where he focused on both individual and collaborative research projects.

But what truly sets Oliver apart is his background as a professional footballer. For two decades, he dedicated himself to the sport, playing at the highest level in Estonia for seven years. 

Now, Oliver has shifted his focus to the energy sector, joining Gridraven for the opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in Estonia. His goal? To harness the power of data for a more efficient grid and lower energy prices.
