We are on a mission to enhance global electricity grid capacity by up to 30% using advanced AI solutions and Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) technology. This innovative approach addresses energy bottlenecks, helps reduce power prices, and supports the integration of renewable energy—all without the need for expensive new infrastructure. Today, we introduce three key members who drive our projects forward: Eneli Toodu, Sten Buldas, and Juri Krainjukov.
Eneli Toodu, Geospatial Data Analyst/ Data Scientist
Mission: To transform complex environmental data into practical solutions that enhance renewable energy and power grid systems.
Eneli is an accomplished Environmental Data Engineer and Data Scientist with a Master's degree in Earth Sciences. She brings over five years of expertise in geospatial data and advanced data analytics. At GridRaven, she works on projects focused on generating high-resolution wind forecasts crucial for the Dynamic Line Rating (DLR) of electric power lines, improving the efficiency and reliability of energy systems.
Previously, at Planet OS, Eneli worked on the Planet OS Datahub, a platform designed to integrate vast environmental science datasets for analysis and management. She played a key role in processing, standardizing, and transforming diverse datasets to ensure their compatibility with the platform, enabling more effective environmental data analysis. Following the acquisition of Planet OS by Intertrust, she continued working on the Datahub, enhancing its capabilities and user experience. Additionally, as a Usability Engineer at Intertrust, Eneli contributed to refining the platform’s interface, ensuring it was intuitive and user-friendly.
Sten Buldas, Data analyst in power system
Mission: Bringing about the green revolution by all feasible means
Sten is an Electrical Power Engineering and Mechatronics undergraduate who has nearly two years of work experience at the Tallinn University of Technology creating models of electricity markets and production units. He is young, driven, and eager to learn more from the best in the field. He is passionate about saving the environment and tries to support this by working for a green cause. He sees great potential in both AI and machine learning and is curious to see where these key technologies will lead us.
Juri Krainjukov, Data Engineer
Mission: To improve our chances of combatting environmental problems by leveraging technology and data-driven solutions.
Juri is an experienced Software Engineer who made a successful transition into the world of Big Data, where he combines his deep technical expertise with a passion for solving complex problems at scale. At GridRaven, his primary focus is on enabling the work of data scientists by providing them with critical data and building, as well as maintaining, an efficient and scalable data platform, helping with advanced analytics and machine learning workflows.
Before joining GridRaven, Juri contributed to optimizing truckload logistics at Sixfold, improving the efficiency and transparency of freight transportation. In addition, Juri worked at Starship Technologies, helping develop cutting-edge technology that brought autonomous robots to city streets, creating more sustainable and efficient last-mile delivery.
Together with the rest of the fast-growing team, Sten, Eneli, and Juri exemplify GridRaven’s commitment to innovation and efficiency. Their collective expertise and dedication are essential in realizing our vision for the energy future.
